Ian Randles
Ian rejoined the PGA in 2018.
Prior to that he was the Research Officer for the Honourable Rick Mazza MLC, Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party member of the WA Parliament’s upper house.
Ian was recruited to work in Mr Mazza’s office in 2016 from the PGA.
Ian first joined the PGA in 2010 from the Australian Wool Testing Authority (AWTA).
He was employed by AWTA as a casual employee in 1985 and worked his way up from the shop floor to middle management.
Ian has experience in technical writing, interviewing and recruitment, political campaigning, speech writing, laboratory operations, secretariat, labour management, note taking, policy writing, summaries, drafting private Member’s Bills and public speaking. He has technical qualifications in wool measurement.
In his spare time, he is a volunteer guide at the Leighton Battery Heritage Site and sits on the management committee of the Royal Australian Artillery Historical Society.
