The WA Sheep Industry Roadmap to 2028 presents an industry-led, co-designed strategy to guide the Western Australian sheep meat and wool sectors through the next two years. Built on extensive stakeholder consultation, the Roadmap to 2028 responds to significant structural, cultural, and market challenges while identifying clear opportunities to restore confidence, improve performance, and position the industry for sustainable growth. Whilst developed at a point in time, the themes, opportunities and challenges are likely to remain current and provide a direction for change for the next three years.
