PREMIER TO OPEN PGA PASTORAL CONFERENCE

Western Australian Premier Colin Barnett will officially open the annual PGA Pastoral Conference on Friday May 4 at the Mercure Inn Continental in Broome.
This premiere event will include input from pastoralists, agricultural producers, station employees, Aboriginal pastoral stations, stockmen, peak industry bodies, livestock agents, exporters, road transport operators, contractors, helicopter companies, local businesses, regional communities, politicians and regional families.
The conference will include presentations and Q&A sessions from industry and political leaders including Bill Farmer, chair of the Independent Review into Live Exports; Rob Delane, Director General of DAFWA; Hon Norman Moore, Minister for Mines and Petroleum; Fisheries; Electoral Affairs; Senator Mathias Cormann; MLA Chairman Robert Anderson and MLA Managing Director Scott Hansen; Cattle Council President Andrew Ogilvie; the Consul General of Indonesia; and Luke Bowen, Executive Director of the NTCA.
