REMINDER - TO ALL MEMBERS AND FRIENDS

Nor’West marquee luncheon is now only a few days away, on Sunday 15th January, 11.30 am at Allen Park, Swanbourne.  Watch our team battle it out “on the green” on the opening day of Country Week.

A few points of interest:

•       The weather promises to be “kind”.

•       Adequate marquee space, chairs and tables with bar facilities will prevent dehydration!

•       Please bring a plate or a small entrance cost will be needed.

•       As this coincides with the third day of the WACA test match – Australia vs India – a TV screen will keep you up to speed on the action.

•       A fruit and wine stall – selling mangoes and table grapes from Carnarvon, stone fruit from the south, together with good quality wines all at low prices will be available. 

•       A short address on the live cattle export to Indonesia situation will be made over lunch.

•       WACA Historian, Bill Reynolds, will be also addressing everyone with his plans to start a history compilation of the 105 year old association, so if you have any photos or anecdotes you wish to see included, please leave him with your contact details.
