2010-09-23
The Pastoralists & Graziers Association of WA (PGA) has recently appointed Ian Randles as their new Pastoral & Livestock Executive Officer.
Ian has a long history with the wool and livestock industry, having previously worked for AWTA Ltd. Ian’s family was also well established in the livestock industry with his father having worked for EG Green and Sons and later, with the Australian Meat & Livestock Corporation in the lead up to its restructure as a grower owned institution. Ian is married with one child and lives in the Fremantle suburb of Beaconsfield.
Ian is well placed to coordinate the work of the PGA’s pastoral and livestock committees whose main focus are pastoral land tenure, pastoral rentals, National heritage listings, NLIS, mulesing and live export.
“Although I have a broad understanding of the rural issues, I am looking forward to developing close personal links with PGA members throughout the State” Ian said this week.
Ian Randles can be contacted at the PGA on 08 9479 4599 or ianr@pgaofwa.org.au
