EGYPTIAN AMBASSADOR TO MEET TODAY WITH WA AGRICULTURE INDUSTRY LEADERS
2013-08-26
Western Australia’s leading agricultural lobby group, the Pastoralists and Graziers Association of WA (PGA) will be hosting a luncheon for Egypt’s Ambassador to Australia, His Excellency Dr Hassan El-Laithy, today at Pastoral House (277 Great Eastern Highway, Belmont).
PGA President Rob Gillam said the luncheon will enable the Egyptian Ambassador the opportunity to meet with producers and industry representatives to discuss a wide range of agricultural trade issues, including wheat and live cattle and sheep exports from Western Australia.
“Egypt remains an important market for much of Western Australia’s agricultural exports and this luncheon will allow His Excellency Dr El-Laithy the opportunity to meet with producers and understand how our industry works,” Mr Gillam said.
All media are invited to a door- stop interview at 2.30pm with His Excellency and the PGA.
